About Sharamentsa Lodge

Sharamentsa Lodge is a community-owned and operated ecotourism initiative located in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Our lodge sits on the ancestral territory of the Achuar people, who have lived in harmony with the rainforest for thousands of years.

By choosing Sharamentsa, you’re not just experiencing one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth — you’re directly supporting indigenous sovereignty and rainforest conservation. 100% of our profits go back to the community and to protecting over 680,000 hectares of pristine rainforest.

Our comfortable facilities were built using traditional Achuar architecture combined with eco-friendly modern amenities, providing an authentic yet comfortable stay in one of the most remote regions of the Amazon Basin.
